The Ole Henriksen Lemon Strip Flash Peel has been one of my recent discoveries and it's become a firm favourite.
So what is it? This is a simple acid peel, that refines the pores and softens the look of lines. It contains a combination of different acids, inlcuding, lactic, glycolic and multifruit acids. All these combined help to dissolve dead skin cells, allowing other products to penetrate deeper into the skin.

Over the last 7-8 months i have noticed a lot of congestion (bumps under the skin) around my chin area and when i went to have a facial done before Christmas, the therapist couldn't figure out what they were because they weren't extracting like normal blackheads. I thought it was just some blackheads, that needed professional products and extraction.
I was stumped and thought it was best to find some products that could aide in getting rid of the bumps! I was recommend the Ole Henriksen Lemon Strip Flash Peel by an assistant in Sephora and i never ended up purchasing it, until i saw it on 3 for 2 on Look Fantastic.

The product comes in a jar and is a clear, thick gel. A lot of people have commented on the smell of this and i can tell you it doesn't exactly smell of lemons, but i don't find the smell very offensive! It comes with a little face brush, which you use to apply the product to your face. It should be left on the skin for 10-20 minutes and then rinsed off with warm water.
When i first applied this to the skin, it did tingle a lot! It wasn't uncomfortable, but i could really feel the acid working on the skin.....almost like something prickling my skin! I started using this only once a week, to see how my skin would react, but it can be used up to 3 times a week.
The results were impressive! I have been using this before bed and can see not only an immediate improvement to the skin, but my face looks radiant and even in the morning. The bumps around my chin have very slowly started to disappear and the texture of my skin is much more smoother. It has also kept my ugly blemishes at bay!
My thoughts? It is my new skin saviour! I can't tell you how quickly my skin has improved over the last few weeks and it's something i will be carrying on using. If you suffer from congestion, or dark spots due to scarring, then i would definitely recommend this product.
