Who doesn't want clearer, brighter skin? I know that i certainly do! Blackheads and congestion has been the bane of my life since my teens, so when the GlamGlow Super Mud Clearing Mask* arrived in the post, i was eager to give it a go!
This is a detoxifying mask that draws out any impurities from the skin but also makes the skin much more smoother and even. It de-clogs blocked pores and also prevents any future breakouts. You can see from the above picture that the mask has some chunky bits in it, which helps with the exfoliation of the skin.
I was keen on seeing the effects of using this mask, so i applied a thin layer over my entire face and left it on my skin for about 15 minutes. You can just wait for the mask to dry and then remove it, but i wanted to keep it a bit longer on my skin, due to the congestion around my nose!
I know this may look disgusting, but as my mask was drying, little dots on my nose started to appear! This was the mask pulling out the congestion around my nose area! I loved seeing this because that meant the mask was working!
Once i had removed the mask, i noticed how much smoother and brighter my skin was. My face didn't feel tight or dry, it just felt normal. I also noticed how less congested my nose was. My skin felt like i had actually had a facial......you know that clean, soft feeling?
I noticed that even after removing the mask, there was still some residual stuff coming out......gross i know! I am super impressed on how this mask extracts the gunk from your face!
This has exceeded my expectations because i honestly didn't expect a mask to make so much difference, especially to congested skin. I do find that it is a lot of money, however you can get about 17 full face applications or 1000 spot treatments. I probably wouldn't use this every week, maybe once every few weeks, but i honestly think there's something magical in that jar!
