Simple Smokey Eyes

Evening guys! A few nights ago i was getting ready to film a video for YouTube but didn't have enough time to film a tutorial, so thought i would share it on my blog.

Lets start with the face......

I used my beloved MAC Studio Sculpt in NC44, blending it in with a beauty blender and then used MAC Select Moisturecover Concealer in NC42 to cover my blemishes. YSL Touche Eclat was for under my eyes and then i set my makeup with EX1 Pure Crushed Minerals Powder Foundation in M400.

I contoured using the Natural Collections eyeshadow in Crushed Walnut and buffed it in with a Real Techniques Contour Blush. The Bobbi Brown Bronzer in Deep is the perfect bronzer for warming up the face and isn't too orange or muddy.

Beg blush from Illamasqua was used, as i wanted to keep the cheeks quite subtle and i have been using this pretty much everyday. I have been loving using The Luminizer.......oh my god, it is one of the most beautiful highlighters and gives the skin this intense sheen!

It had to be all Anastasia Beverly Hills products for my brows! I used the Dip Brow Pomade in Ebony to define the brows, and the Brow Wiz in Ebony to neaten everything up. To keep my brows in place, i used the Tinted Brow Gel in Espresso.

The Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden is sooooo much better than the original. The yellow tone of the primer just makes eyeshadows pop! For the main colour on my lid, the KIKO Lounge Warm Tones Palette was used (bottom left colour). To define the socket, the matte brown was used and blended. I wanted to add a bit of warmth to the socket, so added the cranberry shade and blended.

To line my eyes, the Illamasqua Precision Gel Liner was of course my first choice, finishing off with House of Lashes in Femme Fatale. I used L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes in Noir Excess to blend my lashes and false lashes together. I wanted to deepen the socket, and used the Lorac Pro Palette Eyeshadow in Black and added Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion to my waterline. I added the gold shade wet in the inner part of eyes.

Lips were kept pretty neutral with MAC Lipstick in Fast Play, topping it off with Nars Lip Lacquer in Chelsea Girls.

I hope you all enjoyed the look and you're all having a great weekend!
xXx
