Highlighter Lovin' | Revlon Photoready Skinlights in Bare Lights

I gave in when there was a 3 for 2 offer in Boots, and purchased the Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminator in Bare Light.

You all know how much i am obsessed with MAC Strobe Lotion, and i wanted to see how this compared, especially it being a drugstore product!

I love how Bare Lights is a more flesh toned highlighter, as the MAC Strobe Lotion has more of a pinky tone to it. I find this highlighter blends in very well, giving the skin a natural illuminated appearance. A lot of highlighters can either be too frosty, too pink or silver, and Bare Lights is pretty much bang on for a liquid highlighter, looking fab on all skin tones.

I have been applying this to the high points of my cheeks using the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge after my foundation but before powder. I don't tend to apply liquid highlighters over powder, as sometimes it can lift the product underneath.

It is a very light weight product and doesn't feel sticky on tacky on the face. I did try to mix this with my foundation, but my face ended up looking a bit too glowy!!!

I prefer to only use this highlighter on my cheekbones, otherwise it looks too shimmery with my oily skin! This beautiful highlighter is perfect for illuminating the skin and fits in with all seasons, so you can have a healthy glow all year round!

It retails for £11.99 and can be picked up from your local Boots or Superdrug.

Have any of you tried this? Thoughts?
